Kawaljit (KJ) S. Sikka is an Accountant, Enrolled Agent, Registered Tax Return Preparer and Certified Senior Advisor. He received his “Master of Science in Taxation” from William Howard Taft University and “Bachelor of Science in Accounting” from West Chester University, Pennsylvania and has over 20 years experience in tax and accounting field.

KJ Sikka is a Federally authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation. As an “EA”, KJ Sikka can represent the taxpayers for audits, collections, and appeals before all the administrative levels of Internal Revenue Service.

He is a Registered Tax Return Preparer “RTRP” who has been preparing and filing the tax returns for Individuals, Businesses and Partnerships for over 20 years.

He holds a “CSA” designation who works with seniors on their various issues dealing with aging. Issues like: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Tax Planning etc..

He has also successfully completed three-year program in “Representation and Practice before the Internal Revenue Service” and recognized as a “Fellow” of the National Tax Practice Institute.

Geeta Devadiga is a Charted Accountant from India and is a Registered Tax Return preparer in US. Geeta has Bachelors of Commerce from University of Mumbai, India (equivalent to Accounting degree in U.S.). She is a dynamic and highly qualified accountant with an extensive knowledge of accounting principles.

Geeta helps in compiling, interpreting, analyzing financial data. She is in charge of maintaining ledgers, preparation of financial statements and maintains accurate general ledger accounts for our diverse clientele.

Geeta have strong knowledge and experience in taxation field for over 6 years and assist the firm in preparing tax returns and in representing the clients in the audits. Her role at Sikka & Associates is to simplify the complex financial statements, resolve issues for our clients with Internal Revenue Service and State agencies.

Prior to joining us, Geeta worked for Jackson Hewitt for 5 years in tax preparation field.

Sukhwinder Kaur has joined Sikka & Associates as a book keeping consultant since 2012. She was very excited to get an opportunity to work for and with us in the field she really passionate about which is accounting.

Her duties include gathering client’s information, analyzing data, bookkeeping and assisting our tax consultants in organizing the work process, coordinating the production of information materials, and routine correspondence.

Sukhwinder consistently performs at best of her ability and always willing to learn more.

Bhaanupritha Jayaraman is an accountant, she received her Accounting degree from University of Madras India and has Master’s degree in Business Administration from Vellore Institute of Technology India.

Her current area of practice includes bookkeeping, preparation of multi state payroll and sales tax returns and assisting clients with start up support. In addition to assisting our firm with preparation of business and individual tax returns for our clients, Bhanu has also been assisting the firm in representing the taxpayers for audits, collections, and appeals before all the administrative levels of Internal Revenue Service.

Bhanu plays an important role during tax season to support the firm and focuses on providing personalized financial guidance to individuals and businesses.

She consistently goes above and beyond to provide extraordinary service to our clients. Bhanu is focused, organized and dedicated.

Premamalini Rao (Malini) joined Sikka & Associates in June 2020. She has a Masters in Economics from University of Madras, India. Malini responsibilities include formation of a new company, dissolution, obtaining required licenses, co-ordination and regular correspondence with clients for book keeping, analyzing data, assisting in the preparation of tax returns, and filing of sales tax returns.

She is result-driven individual with an aptitude to learn, ability to collaborate, a focus towards details, and the willingness to go outside the comfort zone to learn new skill sets. More than anything she is passionate about accounting and finance.

Thanam Baba graduated from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. Prior to joining Sikka & Associates, she has worked as a translator in the Department of Education and Department of South Asia Studies, UPenn, and a math tutor at Aloha Mind Math.

Thanam’s role is to offer best advices, and has ability to help other bookkeeping consultants in drafting financial reports. She works closely with clients and assists the firm in collecting, analyzing, and preparing financial statements

Thanam enjoys reading and gardening in her free time.

Her current area of practice includes bookkeeping, preparation of multi state payroll and sales tax returns and assisting clients with start up support. In addition to assisting our firm with preparation of business and individual tax returns for our clients.
